...Kill Pen Horses....
Kill pen horses are horses that have been sold at auctions to meat companies. American meat companies buy these horses and send them to Canada to be slaughtered and sold as meat in foreign countries. There is a rescue group for kill pen horses on facebook. These horses are horses that have been in loving families, having known companionship their loneliness in the kill pens must be unbearable. these horses are horses that have been trained, worked with and taken care of previously. I wish that I could rescue every one of these horses.
